Three-Tier Consumer Redressal System

  • District Commission (DCDRC): Claims up to Rs. 50 Lakhs
  • State Commission (SCDRC): Claims between Rs. 50 Lakhs and Rs. 2 Crores
  • National Commission (NCDRC): Claims above Rs. 2 Crores, and apex appellate/revisional authority

Jurisdiction of NCDRC

  • Original Jurisdiction: Complaints where value exceeds Rs. 2 Crores
  • Appellate Jurisdiction: Second appeals against SCDRC orders involving substantial questions of law
  • Revisional Jurisdiction: Revision petitions against SCDRC orders

Digital Filing Through e-Jagriti
